Who We Are
The Pennsylvania MESA is part of the 10-state MESA USA network (www.mesausa.org) which serves 50,000 students in grades K-12 including community college students. PA MESA is licensed by the University of California to Temple University which sponsors the initiative at the College of Engineering in the Department of STEM Education, Outreach and Research. Dedicated staff, engineering students and volunteers from a wide variety of science, technology, engineering and math backgrounds guide pre-college students through programs that increase knowledge about careers that support the world’s critical infrastructure – access to clean water, nutritious food, healthy living and renewable energy.
Secure public and private resources to advance competitive academics to increase the number of engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and related professionals at technical and management levels, and encourage and assist minorities and females in achieving success in these fields
Contribute to a competitive global workforce by increasing the yield and diversity of STEM graduates in Pennsylvania who follow various education and training pathways.
